Precise, smooth, fast travel characterise the Gryphon robot. The articulated arm is under the control of 4 micro-processors and will accurately place components in a CNC machine or work-cell. Each axis is powered by a stepper motor with encoder feedback to provide closed-loop control.

The Robot can be programmed using the easy to use but powerful programming system included with the robot and can be accomplished by a variety of methods; you can either enter axis values manually, move the axis by means of sliders, use the included handheld 'teach pendant' remote unit or the included 'Gryphon Simulator' a small handheld model of the robot, the full size robot will follow the movements of the model.

The software includes the facility to control the other products in this range such as CNC machines, conveyors, parts dispensers or gauging units allowing the construction and programming of FMS workcells.
