Basic Electricity & Electronics

EEC471-2

A kit of Basic Electricity & Electronics components, mounted on small printed circuit carriers, which are housed in a convenient storage tray with identification information.

The kit introduces the student to the basic principles of electrical theory and circuits and the physical and electrical characteristics of commonly used semiconductor devices and circuits.

The course begins with an introduction to the general concepts of electricity and electronics, which is followed by practical assignments. The circuits are constructed on the EEC470 construction deck. The deck's layout allows swift and simple circuit construction and the high quality beryllium copper spring contacts have a self-cleaning action to ensure a long life of good electrical contact.

The combination of EEC470 and EEC471-2 requires a 92-445 Power Supply.
