The Feedback Instruments Coupled Tanks System is a model of an industrial process plant fragment, which is compatible with NI LabVIEW and MATLAB software. Very often, tanks are coupled through pipes and the reactant level and flow has to be controlled. The experiment is designed so that students may develop their own control algorithms or use the models supplied with the courseware.
