The Feedback 12-300 Basic Electronics Series is now complemented by the addition of two new workboards that provide an introduction to digital electronics.

The 12-307 introduces students to the concept of digital electronics and the different types of logic family. The 12-308 covers Combinational Logic and introduces systems that are composed of multiple logic gates. Both boards feature Feedback’s Discovery software which contain complete student instruction, reference material and on-screen instrumentation.

The boards use the National Instruments ELVIS II/II+ console, which provides power and signal acquisition.

• Presentation Style Graph — Additional graph style that moves measurements and units outside the graph; ideal for publication of DataStudio graphs in educational journals

Mobile learning with iPad and iPod touch
Julian Coultas ADE, will show you how to get started with the iPad and iPod touch in the classroom and how ICT can be woven into all lessons with minimum fuss and maximum impact.

The session will be a combination of presentation and hands on workshop. During the session we’ll be exploring why and how you might use the devices in class, working with text, image and sounds, as well as looking at the iPad in terms of it’s role for planning and reviewing. The session will cover apps, organisation, sharing and collaborating. We will also look at how the iPad and iPod touch form a learning triangle between your classroom, the home PC and the ICT suite, and there will be a demonstration of how the iPhone Configuration Utility will help management of multiple devices.
