Turn-key FMS Demonstration Benches

This is a range of Turn-key FMS Demonstration Benches using the robots and machine tools from the Feedback range. Each is supplied fully assembled and tested, complete with control computer, air compressor and all required power supplies etc.

There are three benches in our range: The first is a basic unit that sorts components, applies a machining operation to those components then stores the finished pieces in a compartment on an indexing table.

The second is designed to demonstrate the ability of a system to run two parallel processes, one process loads engraving disks into a mill, engraves them and stores finished goods in a box, while another process sorts and stores components by size. Both processes run simultaneously.

The third bench is our full FMS, this features our full range of robots and machine tools to first sort components by diameter and length, then apply milling and turning operations to those components making one of four chess pieces depending on the size of blank. This is a challenging process having 4 conveyor belts, 2 Gryphons, a Serpent, Cyber Mill, Cyber Lathe, Mentor as well as the full range of gauging and sensing components, all of which must be co-ordinated to produce the part required.
